Though rather lengthy, this Prince from Ashton boasts an incredibly lightweight in-hand presence, thank to the shape's slender shank-and-stem arrangement. Said arrangement balances the plump, Apple-like bowl at the fore of the composition, and lends the overall shape a sleek, understated elegance in profile. The dark Pebble Grain sandblast dresses the stummel and highlights a lively showing of grain across the bowl and shank, the finish's dark stain harmonizing well with the stem's jet-black hues.
