This bent Pot from Ashton is a unique take on the classic form, in part due to its Prince-like shank-and-stem arrangement and paneled, geometric bowl. Said bowl is framed by six crisp facets, which add a wealth of engaging texture to the form and foster a hard-lined aesthetic that's contrasted by the languid curvature of the shank and stem. The brindled stem's elegant downturn promotes a comfortable smoking posture and lends a noticeable gesture to the shape's silhouette. The warm tones of the Old Church sandblast dresses the stummel and draws out rippling grain across the bowl, while a silver military mount adorns the junction and ties the entire composition together with a dose of flash.
