Ashton: Old Church Bent Bulldog (XXX) Tobacco Pipe

Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This bent Bulldog by Jimmy Craig of Ashton features the marque's Old Church sandblast, dressing rippling growth rings in a warm, blonde stain that will naturally patinate after many smokes. The muscular Bulldog bowl is paired to the shape's requisite diamond shank, which showcases Craig's superb line work in its sharp, linear ridges that counter the natural texture of the sandblast. the vulcanite saddle stem keeps the profile trim while its substantial bit provides a secure and comfortable clench.
