Ashton: Pebble Grain Lovat with Silver (XX) Tobacco Pipe

Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This Lovat by Jimmy Craig of Ashton is a classically inclined pipe: the pert, canted bowl; the elongated, cylindrical shank; and the abbreviated saddle stem are all essential elements of the timeless shape and form the iconic, balanced profile. Additionally, this piece is dressed in the chocolatey hues of Ashton's Pebble Grain sandblast, its visual and textural ruggedness contrasting with the broad silver accent on the shank end.
