Ashton: Claret Canadian (XX) Tobacco Pipe

Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This sleek rendition of the Canadian by Ashton possesses the shape's requisite ovoid shank and abbreviated tapered stem, the elongated arrangement presenting a willowy elegance as it gently tapers from transition to bit. At the fore, a towering bowl showcases supple, soft walls that encircle a capacious chamber, sure to please anyone who prefers smoking at length. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in the bright, ruby hues of Ashton's Claret sandblast, highlighting squiggly growth rings on both the bowl and shank.
