Ashton: Pebble Grain Poker with Silver (XXX) Tobacco Pipe

Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This Poker by Ashton possesses an erect, cylindrical bowl that extends from a flattened underside to a trim rim with geometric precision. Out back, a rather broad transition tapers quickly as the shank flows into a silver military mount, which adds both aesthetic flourish and functional durability to this piece. Furthermore, the stem is fashioned from jet-black vulcanite, which elegantly complements the inky Pebble Grain sandblast on the stummel for the timeless appeal of a Dress pipe.
