Ashton: Old Church Calabash with Silver (XXX) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-006-4024

Eager to become part of the pipe making process, Bill Ashton-Taylor started working as an apprentice at Dunhill in 1959 when he was only 15 years old. With a burning passion and a high standard for quality pipe making, he would go on to found the Ashton marque, whose legacy has been carried on by Jimmy Craig since Bill's passing in 2009. Exuding a Dublin-like quality, this Calabash by Ashton pairs deep, sinuous curves with a tall, flaring bowl to create a comfortable and fashionable pipe. A fully bent shank seamlessly transitions from the bowl and tapers up towards a broad, silver accent band. Punctuating the shank is a cumberland saddle stem, with a posture perfect for jaw hanging. The stummel wears Ashton's rugged Old Church sandblast, contrasting the dark hues of the stem with a light, warm complexion.
