Ashton: Old Church Bent Pot with Silver (X) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-006-4034

Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This Pot by Ashton features a cylindrical, thick-walled bowl that possesses a muscular demeanor but is quite lightweight in-hand. Out back, the slender disposition and gentle downturn of the shank-and-stem arrangement are reminiscent of the graceful Prince shape, and offer a demure shaping contrast to the robust bowl. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in the Old Church sandblast and accented by a sterling silver band.
