Ashton: Brindle Canadian with Silver (XX) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-006-4041
Headed by Jimmy Craig, English workshop Ashton primarily crafts pipes of a timeless, classical style, often elevated by stems of signature brindled vulcanite and fitments of elegant silver. This Canadian is an excellent encapsulation of all those features, showcasing a balanced build that's handy, light, and sleek. Less than five and a half inches long, this pipe is fairly compact, its reserved silhouette punctuated by a broad band of silver at the junction. An extended, ovoid shank pushes out of a wide transition to meet a tapering stem of brindled black and orange vulcanite at the aforementioned junction, the confluence of disparate colors offering rich contrast that naturally draws the eye to the aft side. Up front, the bowl stands on a rounded heel and boasts a subtle, soft curvature up to its flat rim, keeping the feel in hand comfortable while offering plenty of space to showcase the crisp, earthy sandblast of Ashton's Brindle series.
