Ashton: Brindle Apple with Silver (XX) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-006-4043

Headed by Jimmy Craig, English workshop Ashton primarily crafts pipes of a timeless, classical style, often elevated by stems of signature brindled vulcanite and fitments of elegant silver. An Apple instantly reminiscent of the Anglo-French shape chart standard, this piece boasts a sleek shank-and-stem combination that does well to balance the visual weight of the bowl. Said combination comprises a trim, round stretch of briar that's capped by a broad accent of silver at the junction to a sleekly tapering mouthpiece of warm cumberland: the shank's impressive brevity matched to an extended stretch of stem. Up front, the bowl stands atop a rounded heel and boasts a supple, rounded taper up toward the rim, its walls offering plenty of space to showcase the crisp, earthy sandblast of the Brindle series while the silver junction band offers elegant contrast.
