Ashton: Brindle Poker with Silver (XXX) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-006-4060
Headed by Jimmy Craig, English workshop Ashton primarily crafts pipes of a timeless, classical style, often elevated by stems of signature brindled vulcanite and fitments of elegant silver. Ashton presents a classic English Poker in this rendition, maintaining Jimmy Craig's dedication to presenting timeless, traditional forms. The stout cylindrical bowl features a flattened base that allows this handsome, utilitarian piece to sit upright stably and offers a good bit of chamber depth, making it a great desk pipe. It's dressed in the Brindle series' darkly-stained sandblast, showing off striking growth rings throughout the stummel, while a sterling silver army mount offers rich contrast and added functionality. The shank is short and lifted, and it's topped by a swirling black and white stem of demurely curved, tapering vulcanite, strikingly contrasting the briar's inky finish.
