Charming and aptly archetypal, this Apple from Ashton is a lightweight and slender imagining of the shape that stays true to the shape chart archetype. Crafted in traditional Anglo-French style, this pipe boasts a wide transition that gives way to a short shank capped by a broad band of elegant silver at the junction to a sleekly tapering stem of black vulcanite. The slimness of the shank and stem keeps this pipe agile and handy, though the combination's lengthiness yet balances the visual weight of the bowl. Said bowl stands on a round heel and grows supple walls with ample curvature that take on a bulging arc to the rim and offer plenty of softness in hand.
