Bill Ashton-Taylor got his start making pipes for Dunhill, but after mastering the craft, realized he needed to set out on his own, so he founded the British marque Ashton. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2009, but pipe maker Jimmy Craig proudly carries on the Ashton name. This Brandy by Ashton is a classically inclined rendition of the Anglo-French shape-chart standard, featuring an upright, tapered bowl, proportional shank, and a sleek stem. Furthermore, the iconic piece is dressed in the timeless hues of the Pebble Grain finish, a crisp, dark sandblast that highlights craggy growth rings in stunning detail. Additionally, the junction of the stem and stummel showcases a silver military mount, adding durability to this archetypal Brandy.
