Askwith: Smooth Billiard with Horn Tobacco Pipe

While Chris Askwith's style often reflects his appreciation for classic English shapes, his portfolio is rife with designs that demonstrate his penchant for alternate materials and vibrant stem colors. This example is far more conservative and traditionally inclined in comparison, showcasing Askwith diverse stylistic approach to the craft. Its shaping and overall presentation calls to mind a Billiard we've previously received from Chris, though this example is slightly more curvaceous and Danish-inspired with its rounded rim and subtle cheeking around the transition. The color palette is also noticeably reserved, the stummel dressed in a light, natural stain that illuminates the briar's gorgeous grain and is complemented the polyester stem pearly white hue.
