An especially lengthy version of the Lovat, this Long Shank rendition is a great example of Chris Askwith's shaping versatility. Known for his use of lively, polyester stems that contribute to a vivid color palette, the English artisan hits those marks here, modernizing the classic design with his own creativity. The broad bowl is poised at the end of the especially elongated, round shank that's then topped by a gorgeous, abbreviated saddle stem of multiple bright colors. The stummel wears an ebony-hued, low-profile sandblast, providing contrast and elevating the tight-knit stacks of growth rings below.
