Askwith: Moon Rock Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-499-0407

Combining traditional shaping with a unique, modern finish, this bent Dublin showcases Chris Askwith's signature aesthetic of contemporary classicism. The bowl flares subtly toward the gently inflated rim framed by a crisp, wrapping ridgeline that separates it from the remainder of the bowl. Out back, a sinuously rising, lithe, round shank and gently downturned mouthpiece promote a comfortable smoking posture and sweeping profile.

The English artisan's dimpled, signature Moon Rock finish is among his most unique and rare; it's achieved through a micro-sandblasting technique that leaves "craters" or small circular recesses behind, embodying a moon-like motif. The stummel is otherwise wearing a jet-black finish that's complemented by a cumberland-hued stem of red and black polyester, the alternative material embodying another of the carver's signature styling aesthetics.
