A compact, pocket-friendly piece, this stout Pot from Chris Askwith succinctly embodies the English carver's design aesthetic of marrying a classic shape with a contemporary color palette. The dark rustication covering the stummel provides not only visual delight but plenty of tactile enjoyment as well, while the smooth, mahogany-hued and chamfered rim lends contrast. It's topped by one of Askwith's colorful polyester saddle stems, the baby blue hues shot through with black striations, pairing wonderfully with the dark stummel.
