Rendered in ruggedly sandblasted strawberry wood (which, aesthetically, is nearly indistinguishable from briar, but of lighter weight), Federico here presents us with a straight Billiard blending traditional English elements with some relatively subtle hints of some of the more artistic realms of the Italian school. That pointed heel, for example, speaks to me of Castello, while the entire bowl itself also features a slight forward shift, lending the profile a more active aesthetic.
