Becker: Sandblasted Dublin (Two Clubs)
Product Number: 002-007-0783
Readily recognizable as the work of Federico Becker, the pointed heel of this Dublin adds structure and geometry to overall composition. Its smooth and chamfered inner rim adds to that geometry with a lighter stain to contrast against the dark, craggy sandblast of the stummel. That hue is echoed at the end of the shank with an elegant, thin band of smooth briar where the ebonite stem meets the shank. With a small overall length, but somewhat stouter proportions than Becker's usually more sleek and streamlined designs, this piece could be easily carried in a jacket pocket for those occasions when one must grab a pipe and dash.- Chuck Stanion
