Becker: Sandblasted Dublin (Three Clubs)

Product Number: 002-007-0835

Clean, crisp and angular are words that embody Federico Becker's overall shaping aesthetic, ensuring the third-generation carver's work is unique, yet easily recognizable. This Dublin notably displays one of the artisan's signature shaping cues: a jutting and pointed, crisp heel that alludes to a forward sense of momentum, particularly given the precise shaping, hint of a sloping rim, and a streamlined profile. The sharply defined transition is followed by a shank-and-stem combination that continually tapers toward the bit, the line work skillful and stylish. This piece wears a sandblast across unstained, virgin briar that showcases the briar's natural grain patterns, especially some lovely growth rings on the left flank and is further accentuated by trim, pale bands at the shank end.
