Third-generation carver Federico Becker's portfolio contains pipes of both smooth and sandblasted finishes, with the latter more prevalent, yet it's been years since we've seen a smooth Billiard here at Smokingpipes. Characterized by the Italian artisan's signature pointed, crisp heel and quite slender, streamlined shank and stem, this piece strikes a sleek, lengthy profile. The bowl presents a slightly sloping and gently chamfered rim, lending some contrasting softness to that aforementioned jaunty heel. The stummel is wearing a light, natural finish, highlighting fine, wispy tendrils of flame grain along with horizontal grain on all flanks in this Four Diamonds pipe.
