Becker: Sandblasted Dublin (Four Clubs) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-007-0864
Third-generation carver Federico Becker proudly continues the pipe-making tradition established by his grandfather and father in the 1970s, melding their shaping aesthetic with his own contemporary nuances. Here, the Italian artisan presents a crisply angular Dublin, crafted with the precise, clean line work we've come to expect in Federico's work. The tall bowl boasts his signature pointed, forward-protruding heel spur and subtly flaring rim, while the streamlined, sleek, shank and stem taper gradually to the bit, the slender profile quite striking. A lightweight piece, it's wearing one of Federico's dark, grain-defining sandblasts, showcasing rippling, dense stacks of growth rings on all flanks, with the inner rim and a thin ring of briar at the shank end smoothly finished for contrast.
