Federico Becker is a third-generation pipe maker whose late father and grandfather began the Becker workshop in the 1970s. The younger Becker continues his family's legacy, offering stylish pipes elevated by deft engineering and striking finishes. A handsome example of Federico's signature style, this bent Billiard boasts an angular heel and an incredibly trim shank-and-stem arrangement. Said heel lends a forward-urging momentum to the shape's profile and supports the bowl's trim walls, which rise in a subtle flare to a wide, softly inflated rim. The aforementioned shank-and-stem arrangement lifts out of the transition and lends a check mark-like posture to the form's overall outline, as well as a comfortable smoking stance. Dressing this piece is a warm, natural smooth finish that highlights gorgeous grain throughout the stummel.
