Becker: Sandblasted Dublin (Three Clubs) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-007-0919

Founded by Fritz Becker, the Becker workshop has been a family practice since 1974, currently operated by third-generation craftsman Federico Becker. Becker stands unique among other Italian workshops, their signature style defined by slender, lightweight proportions as opposed to the more hearty compositions of the neoclassic school of design, as illustrated in this Dublin. An incredibly sharp and angular design, this piece offers Federico's signature pointed heel that makes it Pickaxe-like in silhouette. The bowl holds a forward-urging momentum, formed by walls that reach high from the aforementioned heel to a softly domed rim. Despite its lightweight design, this Dublin houses a deep tobacco chamber, sure to offer plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. Out back, an elongated, round shank marries the bowl and pairs to a hand-cut stem of cumberland. Pairing nicely with the stem's dark, rich palette the stummel wears a mahogany-hued sandblast that reveals a handsome array of organic growth rings around the bowl.
