Brebbia: Serie '1960' Sabbiata Nera (601)

Product Number: 002-009-4300

While the short, wide bowl and broad chamber call to mind the Prince, Brebbia's "601" is really more of an Author — albeit an Author with an unusual serpentine flow from transition to lip button. Shape semantics aside, here we have a Tomato with an elongated transition that lends the piece a distinctive style, and leaves more room for the thumb around the back of the bowl. Finished in the extra-dark sandblast of the Sabbiata Nera series, this piece is full of intriguing texture and features smooth briar along the shank end and the rim's innermost portion for a hint of contrast.
