Brebbia: MPB Sailing Sabbiata (601) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

I really like Brebbia's "601" shape, as it acts as a portmanteau of many of my favorite profiles, including: the Prince, the Author, and the Tomato. We can see Prince and Tomato in the bowl, with the plump walls and squat stoutness of the latter coming through, though with the low-waist and gradual taper of the former. An angular transition leads to a muscular shank paired to an Author-like stem of tapered black acrylic, giving the entire composition a lovely, elegant posture. The black sandblast of the Sailing Sabbiata finish dresses the briar here, pairing nicely with the stem and contrasting in a Dress-like fashion with the silvery band at the junction.
