Brebbia's "7069" Hourglass is a distinctly Italian shape, combining the rim of a Dublin with an Oom Paul-like heel and bent shank, rendered in rustic style for a pipe that's pure Brebbia. The wide rippling rim lends the bowl a whimsical organicism balanced by its tapered walls and jutting heel. The shank curves abruptly upward and flares where it joins a silver-accented bent stem in smoky brown acrylic. The stummel is dressed in Brebbia's Sabbiata sandblast and offers plenty of texture for the hand as well as the eye.
