Brebbia's "1001" is a well-balanced, traditionally inclined Billiard, with a stout bowl perched atop a straight shank-and-stem combination, lending it quite the classic profile, save for the slightly pronounced heel — a small gesture of neoclassical shaping. Dressed in the dark, woodsy Sabbiata sandblast, this piece boasts plenty of rich texture, as the finish draws out the briar's natural grain patterns. Paired to a smoky amber stem of acrylic and lightly accented by a birch-colored band, this is handsome piece that will fit well in any collector's rotation.
