Brebbia: Oom Paul Rocciata with Cap (1050) (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Brebbia has been fashioning pipes in Italy since 1953, and while their shaping style stays true to many classic shapes, they're often embellished with flourishing touches — whether in finish, or proportions, or some other creative design cue. This Oom Paul is among the workshop's most iconic, signature designs, elevating the classic shape with bold dimensions, contrasting finishes, and a convenient wind cap. Characteristic of the classic Oom Paul are its deep bend, stretched heel, tall transition, and cylindrical bowl, and Brebbia's rendition here presents that in the pebbly Rocciata rustication, with the domed shank end, rim, and cap left smooth and of a lighter hue for handsome contrast. Said wind cap is attached to a chain and a ring that slides over the tenon — easily removed if desired — and it features a vented top that allows the passage of smoke for outside enjoyment free from intrusive wind. Offering plenty of chamber depth for your favorite blends and a comfortable jaw-hanging posture, this Oom Paul has also been drilled to accommodate a 9mm filter.
