The Sun series from Brebbia is among its most vibrantly colorful, pairing an auburn stained, smooth stummel with an acrylic stem of rich, sunny yellow hues and striking brass accent. It's all dressing the Italian marque's "1001" straight Billiard here, the form traditionally shaped but with a meerschaum-lined chamber. What that equates to is a classically inspired pipe that offers the pale, porous material's neutral smoking properties, melding the best of briar and meerschaum in one fetching piece.
