An aptly named series, Brebbia's Sun line shines with a vibrant stain, smooth finish, brass accent ring, and sunny acrylic stem of swirling golden hues. The warm, auburn finish highlights the briar's grain patterns, and the color palette transitions naturally through the trim accoutrement into the vivid stem. Available in two versions, the Sun series features pipes with a meerschaum-lined chamber and those without, offering the smoking properties of meerschaum but with the overall aesthetic of a briar pipe. This particular example forgoes that meerschaum lining and represents the Italian marque's "8311" bent Billiard design, marked by a traditional bowl, paneled shank, and a mortise drilled to accommodate a 9mm filter.
