Brebbia: Vintage Noce (52) Tobacco Pipe

Essentially a larger version of the "51" straight Dublin, this "52" piece from Brebbia is an extremely sleek and lightweight iteration of the classic shape. The shank and stem here ebb out of a very low-set transition, keeping things looking streamlined, and the disparate proportions of the combination compared to the bowl place nearly all of the visual weight on the latter. This bowl is rather tall and takes on a subtle flare from the rounded heel, canting forward as it does and adding a bit of subtle dynamism. The dark stain of the Noce finish dresses this Vintage line Dublin, revealing handsome grain while a flash of contrast is offered by a trim band of silvery metal at the shank end.
