Brebbia: Sabbiata Bent Egg (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

I really enjoy the bent Egg shape, and this particular rendition from Brebbia showcases all of the plump curves and supple shaping that make me such a fan of the profile. The bowl is quite large, rising to over two inches tall, and is extremely robust, with a mid-set waistline, sweeping heel, and arcing taper to the rim. The contours here make for a comfortable feel in hand, and the tightly knit transition leads to a muscular, sharply upturned shank that's here paired with a well-bent tapered stem. This combination lends an Oom Paul-like stature to the composition that is very well suited for clenching, despite its weight, though the crisp sandblast of the briar offers lovely texture for the fingers.
