Elevating classic shapes with bold Italian flourishes, Brebbia maintains a pipe-making legacy that dates to 1953. The Ninja series presents smooth, sandblasted, and rusticated designs unified by a dark stain, an amber-hued acrylic stem, and a pale hardwood accent along the stem base, and this Rocciata version denotes the Italian marque's wire-brushed rustication. Offering a tantalizing, bark-like texture across the stummel, the dark palette and subtle highlights advance this woodsy motif, and it's well complemented by the semi-translucent stem: Its tones hearken to the genuine amber stems prevalent on pipes throughout the late 19th century, while the light accent provides accenting contrast. The finish is presented here on the "602" Author shape, drilled to accommodate a 9mm filter.
