Butz-Choquin: Sweet (1723)
Product Number: 002-010-0640
Well, I won't beat around the bush: "Sweet" strikes me as a rather odd name for a series like this. There's certainly no aromatic flavoring the chamber, the shapes, from what I've seen, are generally quite robust, reserved renditions of the classics, and the smooth polished finish, dark, understated contrast stain, and simple brass accent all together make for a very masculine look. It's actually quite a sound combination, really, and yet nonetheless, looking at the stamping I can't help but be reminded of the old Johnny Cash song, A Boy Named Sue.
