Caminetto: Smooth Bulldog (00) (AR) Tobacco Pipe

Though varying to a degree from pipe to pipe individually in proportions and lines, it's easy enough to recognize this general style as the definitive Caminetto approach to the straight Bulldog. The key aspects are being low, broad, and slightly forward-canted, and with a streamlined tapered stem or mount and slender tapered-tenon stem preferred (Caminetto does make straight Bulldogs of this sort with saddle stems to, just far less often). This particular example is what you might call a concentrated take on that style, being shorter of shank and stem than most, and with a bowl on the shorter and wider end of the already short-and-wide style.
