Reverse Calabash engineering allows the cooling-chamber characteristics of a classic Calabash to be implemented in other shape designs, without need of a removable tobacco chamber or expansive cooling chamber in the bowl. Instead, that cooling chamber is carved into the shank, meaning the bowl can be shaped creatively. In this Caminetto piece, the Italian workshop presents a classic Billiard, but with the shank noticeably stouter, making for a playfully proportioned piece that's matched by a rusticated finish accented by smooth briar at the shank end and top of the bowl.
