Caminetto: Event 2021 Rusticated Bent Dublin Sitter (AT) Tobacco Pipe

Caminetto is a family brand, with three generations of Ascortis having captained the helm. Founded by Guiseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, it's now run by father-and-son team Roberto and Tommaso Ascorti. The "AT" line is Tommi's and features more edgy designs, with this bent Dublin Sitter being a great example.

Each year, Caminetto offers special edition Event pipes, reviving a singular, older design and lending it a more modern disposition. For 2021, the marque honors the bent Dublin Sitter with a distinct, Cutty-like aspect. The forward-urging bowl features a flared, smooth rim that tapers toward a flat-bottomed foot just beneath the elongated transition, which allows it to sit sturdily. Smooth-flowing lines and curves are prominent in this piece, with a pencil-thin shank topped by a slender, jet-black stem. A broad, copper band between them lends a playful dash of flash and also complements the earthy, rusticated finish. This is a great-looking pipe from Caminetto and would elevate any discerning collection.
