Caminetto: Rusticated Hawkbill with Silver (08) (AT)

Product Number: 002-011-0692

The Hawkbill is a popular shape among fans of the Italian tradition, and this rendition from Caminetto makes it easy to see why. Tommaso "Tommi" Ascorti, who's grandfather Guiseppe Ascorti founded the artisan workshop, presents a deep, partially smoothed rustication well accentuated by a green-hued stain and a trim silver band at the shank end for handsome contrast. The bulbous bowl lifts upward into an arching shank, a profile maintained as the stem tapers to complete the classic shape. Stamped "AT" to denote the workmanship is his alone, Tommi managed to compress this piece nearly into Nosewarmer proportions for excellent portability.
