The Caminetto brand was established by Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice and is now run by Roberto Ascorti and his son Tommi. This bold Oom Paul features the traditional tall transition and deep bend with the cylindrical, yet boldly muscular bowl housing a deep chamber with thick, insulating walls. The nearly vertical rise of shank and stem tops off the shape's iconic profile, with the downturn of the mouthpiece allowing for comfortable clenching, if desired. The smooth finish here is delightful, consisting of a handsome emerald green that does well to show off the briar's grain, including lovely pinpricks of birdseye along the rim.
