Caminetto: Sandblasted Bent Dublin (06) (AT) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-011-0724
Strikingly angular and filled with Italian neoclassical style, this bent Dublin from Caminetto showcases a Hawkbill-esque build that presents with a prominent, but understated, aquiline curve about its shank and stem. Said shank and stem additionally take on a subtle taper from the transition to the button, the duo's compressed, ovoid shape providing some extra body to the piece when viewed from above, though keep things sleek through the profile. A pair of soft ridgelines frame the aft end of this pipe, flowing from the transitional area through the bit quite nicely and firming up the outline for a subdued, muscular look. The heel here is firm and pronounced, supporting a rather tall bowl that's possessed of a gentle flare to its flat, smoothly finished rim. Said rim stands out texturally against the stummel's ruby-auburn sandblast, its hues matching the cumberland stem's and revealing lovely stacks of growth rings across the bowl.
