A rather uniquely stylized iteration of the bent Apple from Italian workshop Caminetto, this pipe does well to showcase their neoclassical style. The shank ebbs out of a low set transition and lifts slightly as it makes its way toward the end, taking on an easy flare as it does and doing well to balance out some of the bowl's visual weight. A trim tapered stem is paired to this shank, pushing into the face in a manner reminiscent of push-style stems, keeping the lines dramatic and angular as it makes a demure downturn at its bit. Up front, a sweeping heel supports the bowl, a rounded arc at the fore working in concert with a steep slope at the aft to create an outline possessed of a forward-urging taper. The contours of the walls make for a comfortable feel in hand, and the heartiness of the bowl providing a lovely showcase for the crisp auburn sandblast that dresses the briar.
