Long and lean, this Lovat from Caminetto measures almost seven inches in total length and boasts a bowl over two inches tall. Said bowl, as one might expect, houses a capacious chamber within its slender frame, encouraging plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. Like many Italian briars, the bowl here holds most of the visual weight within the composition, its towering height and subtle forward cant immediately drawing the eye, leaving the shank-and-stem arrangement in more of a supporting role. It's all handsomely dressed in a dark sandblast that brings vivid definition to the briar and highlights some stunning grain throughout the stummel.
