Caminetto: Nera Bent Brandy (05) (AT) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-011-0767
In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Guiseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This bent Brandy by Caminetto possesses neoclassic proportions while measuring in at fewer than five inches in total length. The shapely bowl features a quite plump, curvaceous heel and an easy, gradual taper to the rim, with the particularly voluptuous disposition hinting at a Danish influence. It's paired to a gracefully arcing shank of a bit more slender design and is topped by a slender stem of pale, horn-hued acrylic, the color contrasted by the rarely seen Nera finish, the smooth, inky black stain imbuing this piece with further elegance and charm.
