Caminetto: Partially Rusticated Bent Egg (Moustache) (08) (AT) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-011-0771

In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Guiseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This bent Egg by Caminetto features a partial rustication on the tall, upright bowl, accentuating its shapely disposition. The shank emerges from the aft's midsection, with the dark tones of the smooth finish highlighting its fascinating construction — the well-bent shank flares to the shank face, and a spur perpendicular to the shank juts out of the transition. The acrylic stem parallels the gentle flare of the shank before it shifts into a saddle construction, offering a smoking posture conducive to comfortable jaw-hanging.
