Caminetto: Sandblasted Bent Billiard with Silver (06) (AT) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-011-0784
In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Guiseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This bent Billiard by Caminetto features a towering, cylindrical bowl that rises from a robust heel to a broad rim, its thick, insulating walls encircling a capacious chamber. Out back, the high-kicking shank and stem create an ideal smoking posture for comfortable jaw-hanging, while a silver band at the junction provides a flashy accoutrement. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a ruby-hued sandblast, highlighting craggy, undulating growth rings on the muscular bowl.
