Caminetto: Partially Sandblasted Reverse Calabash Bent Apple (06) (AT) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-011-0790

Affectionately known as "La Pipa del Baffo" or pipe with the mustache, Caminetto was founded in the 1960's when Luigi Radice and Guiseppe Ascorti left Castello's workshop to found their own. The marque gets its name from the Italian for chimney camino the diminutive of which is caminetto making these pipes little chimneys. Caminetto pioneered many aspects of Italian pipe making, from freer shaping to distinctive finishing techniques which have come to define the style associated with the country. This reverse Calabash bent Apple is a fine example of both, placing a playfully plump bowl with subtly tapered walls atop a full heel at the fore of a robust round shank and comfortably bent acrylic stem. Dressed in an earthy partial sandblast, the stummel offers plenty of fine grain and engaging texture in equal measure.
