Caminetto: Smooth Natural Bent Apple with Silver (02) (AT) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-011-0811

In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Guiseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This bent Apple by Caminetto possesses a plump, stout bowl, its thick, insulating walls tapering as they ascend from the hand-filling heel to the broad rim. Out back, a cheeked transition leads to a a subtly sinuous shank-and-stem arrangement, and the slender shank and protracted saddle stem imbue the composition with a dash of dynamism. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in an auburn smooth finish, highlighting wisps of vertical grain on the bowl and tightly packed birdseye on the rim.
