Caminetto: Rusticated Bent Dublin (08) (AT) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-011-0855
In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This bent Dublin by Caminetto boasts a curvaceous outline, one that sees a forward-urging bowl paired to an sweeping shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl lends a dynamic energy to the composition, while the sinuous shank-and-stem arrangement encourage a comfortable smoking posture and keeps things looking gestural in profile. Dressing this piece is a crisp rustication that lends a wealth of tactile detail to the briar.
