Caminetto: Rusticated Bent Egg with Silver (08) (AT) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-011-0865

In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This bent Egg by Caminetto boasts a proudly poised bowl that tapers from its supple heel to its taut rim. Said bowl is positioned at the fore of an upturned shank and a demurely curved taped stem, the latter of which is joined to the former at a junction accented with a band of sterling silver. A unique dual finish dresses the stummel and sees a craggy rustication juxtaposed against smoothly polished sections of briar.
